The Economy for the Common Good (ECG) is a global movement of people from all walks of life. It began in Austria in 2010 and quickly spread to countries throughout Europe and now has active groups in Africa, Latin America, North America and Asia.
Once a year representatives of these groups come together to define movement-wide rules and policies at the Delegates Assembly. This body makes decisions that concern the entire movement and acts as the parliament of the movement.
Individuals, companies, communities, non-profits, educational institutions can become members of ECG Associations or support them through donations. The Associations handle all legal and financial matters.
