A first for an ECG Delegates Assembly. After 7 years of face-to-face assemblies, this year it took place online. The advantage of this changed format was a record number of participants and represented countries. We had 98 participants from 12 countries.
The Delegates Assembly is the annual meeting of all ECG Local Chapters and Hubs. The conference advances deeper understanding of critical issues, supports the spread of information to the movement and helps network with other ECG activists. Although the exchange was very different online rather than face to face, the participants enjoyed the opportunity for the international exchange of experiences.
The Delegates Assembly makes decisions that concern the entire movement and acts as the parliament of the movement. Eight proposals were presented and voted on the delegates. The new experience of voting online was exciting and marked a milestone for the ECG movement on its spread around the world.
