The international scientific Symposium on the Economic perspectives of the Economy for the Common Good will take place in the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Split, Croatia from April 21 through 23, 2022.
The intention behind the event is to critically examine the existing economic models from the perspective of the common good, social sciences and their practical applications. Religious and non-religious groups, such as The Economy of Francesco, the Cooperative for Ethical Financing in Croatia and the Economy for the Common Good (ECG) will be taking part in this event.
The symposium brings together relevant domestic and foreign experts and practitioners of these alternative economic models – models that don’t focus explicitly and exclusively on profit, but on the common good, which in turn benefits everyone involved in the process of social and economic transformation.
