The ECG-balanced company Taifun-Tofu won the German Sustainability Award in the category “Small and medium-sized enterprises”. In the explanatory statement, the company writes that its plant-based organic foods “make an important contribution to feeding the growing world population”. The renowned German award honours companies that combine economic success with social responsibility and environmental protection in an exemplary manner.
During the SDG Gala in the Vienna Hofburg, Mayor Florian Kasseroler and Hannes Kager received the coveted SDG Award for the Austrian town of Nenzing, which honors pioneers in the implementation of the UN Sustainability Goals (SDGs). The “Austrian SDG Award” is the only award for this topic area in Europe.
