The Introduction to New Economies Programme (PINE) is a space co-created with global references and Latin American perspectives, certified by the Faculty of Economic Sciences of National University of Córdoba, Argentina and endorsed by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). The first two editions of this programme were held in 2019 and 2022 and counted with more than 150 participants. In 2023, PINE became a 13-module Diploma consisting of 11 pre-recorded asynchronous classes with international references in New Economies and 18 live Zoom meetings to interact and reflect with leaders and participants from all over Latin America.

PINE is open for Latin America and other Spanish-speaking countries as an experience beyond theory. A doorway to more sustainable, inclusive, resilient and regenerative models. The learning process is accompanied and guided by a team of New Economies representatives from the Economy for the Common Good (ECG), the Doughnut Economy, Degrowth, B Corps, Regenerative Economy, Circular Economy, Ethical Banking, Local Economies, Feminist Economy, Ancestral Wisdom and Good Living, among others. In this edition, founder Christian Felber and Luciana Cornaglia, the President of the Argentinian Local Chapter , will be representing the ECG.

The 120 participants will be able to access a network of new like-minded friends and colleagues from all over Latin America, over a 100 hours of synchronous and asynchronous study during the course, a growing online library, and an innovative, formative and deep practical experience, with no need for prior knowledge in economics.
