For the project "Economy for the Common Good (ECG) - an Economic System for Sustainable Development" the ECG-group of Baden-Württemberg receives financial support of nearly 20.000 Euro from the "bwirkt!"-support programme of the Foundation Development Cooperation Baden-Württemberg.
The award is presented by Andrea Schwarz, development policy spokeswoman for the Greens parliamentary group in the Baden-Württemberg state parliament.

For one year now, the ECG-group in Baden-Württemberg has been conducting three internal citizen dialogues, eight educational workshops at schools and two further training courses for teachers.

This project shows how the 17 sustainability goals of the United Nations (SDGs) can be achieved through the approach of Economy for the Common Good and is supported by the State Ministry of Baden-Württemberg and the Foundation for Development Cooperation Baden-Württemberg.

The aim is for participants to be able to take more responsible development policy decisions in their respective roles and to participate in the discourse on a sustainable economic system. This promotes the systematic implementation of sustainable economic practices.
